No one is obligated to learn everything about everything. In fact, many people choose to stay ignorant of things, and it's their right to do so. However, when you are in a position that profoundly affects other people's lives (i.e. Politicians, Judges, Police) you should do your best to make sure that you're not wrong. This is my attempt to point out major logical fallacies in the arguments of people in authority. Question authority; not to induce anarchy, but because "intelligence" is subjective, and anyone who is bold enough to claim authority should be viewed under the most skeptical of lights. I am painfully aware of my own flaws and short-comings, and that's why I don't buy anyone's delusions of omniscience, including my own.
